sc-xc – I couldn’t do it from my phone, had to get the laptop out to get the full site rather than the mobile/app site.

You’ve got a keen eye. 😉 and not thrown by the fact I have them the wrong way around either!

I keep raving about them in the sonos threads…

That Dovre Vintage is a lovely thing but sadly way out of budget. It was one of the first stoves I looked at, probably way too big for our needs as well would only need the 35 at very most. If there’s one of these threads next winter I should be able to join in. For now I’ll just bump the central heating up a bit.

The vintage was way out of budget here too, but we got a good deal on an ex display 225 MF, have been very pleased with it so far.

Just acquired a log burner, so not up to speed on stove etiquette, but why do some have small fans on top? What is the benefit?

    What is the benefit?

push the heat round the room?

Apologies, Just looked it up, so presumably depending on stove location and set up the fan helps to Circulate the warm air around the room.

How come everybody’s stove looks clean and tidy around the base?
Ours is a horrible dirty mess and no amount of cleaning seems to help.

Just to restore some balance here’s an unkempt stove in the corner with no tree, decorations or pretty much anything else for that matter nearby:

(Logs in a blue IKEA sack out of shot!)
