Apologies in advance, i know theres some stuff on this in the tripster thread but it’s got so many pages, i got slightly lost looking for it!

I’ve got my charge cx filter running with some duranos for winter road rides and over the summer i’ve been using clement xplor mso 32’s for rides with a mix of on and off road.

The clements have been great in the dry dirt and gravel tracks but arent the most confidence inspiring now its getting damp and muddy. They do roll well on the tarmac though.

Whats out there in a 32 ish width that still rolls well on tarmac but will give better grip on damp/ muddy off road? Most of my cx style loops are a 50/50 mix so i dont want to sacrifice too much tarmac speed.

read it as ‘winter exploding tyres’ and now find myself slightly disappointed.

Can’t help with the question, sorry.

Challenge Grifo XS Not cheap but a good compromise (and roll like tubs if you put latex tubes in)
