Just want to up the size of the tyres im using without having to get really heavy rims..Any recomendations? Something that comes in around 450grams would be light enough..Looking to put chunky 2.5s on..

    Thanks for any ideas..")

I only looked at this thread to see just how many times Flow would be given as the answer.

    My opinion.

    Flow.

    two other options.

    Buy them elsewhere

Just got a 47mm wide rim. Not exactly light though at 750g 🙂

Second for justridingalong – fantastic service.
Hopes with flows and super comp spokes – just under 1.8 KG

Coffeeking, not light but for a 47mm rim probably not that bad at all! What are they?

Onzadog, basically there is no other option for a light wide rim!

Im in Ireland so CRC is handy and quick ")

    Anyway Thanks again…

WTB Laserdisc Trail, not much heavier than 450g (520 I think), half the price of Flows, eyeletted, and very tough if built properly (goes without saying).

I've been running big old fat tyres on mine (2.4 ADvantages, 2.2 Rubber Queens, 2.35 Bonty FR4) with no problems, and they have tubeless ready bead hooks not unlike Stans.
