  • which small trail bike fs frames can take a 27.5" wheel?

    Contemplating 2009-2012 used fs frames, stumpys marins etc. In a size small. But wondering if any 26″ frames have the clearance to fit a 27.5 wheel?

    I’m fairly confident that you need to avoid DW link Turners – my ’09 Flux hasn’t got a lot of clearance with a 2.2 Maxxis Ardent on the back (which is a fairly large volume 26″ tyre but still not the same diameter as a 27.5″ wheel with a tyre on it). Don’t know how much that helps…

    I’m currently running 27.5 on my cannondale prophet.
