  • Which Puncture Resistant Road Tyres??

    Have been using Continental Ultra Gator Skins but have just had splinter from the hedgerow penetrate the tyre, which surprised me. Might go with them again as they're supposed to be one of the best, unless someone can recommend a set that are better.

    I went for bonty hardcase racelites.

    500 odd k at the weekend no bother.

    Bit vague between the hard compound and the soft … more of a slide slide slide grip when its wet – you need a bit of self belief but for the price ill live with it

    I really rate the Bontrager Race Lite Dual Compounds that came standard fit on my Trek 1.7. In 18months riding I have never (touch wood) had a puncture, and that Includes last years Caledonian Etape (The Tack incident).
