had a very wet DH session last night with no goggles and no problems seeing.

Go for the crud fast fender and you don't need to connect it to your steerer at all.

Section of Old inner tube, slit open and zip tied between crown and lower brace, arrests 95% fo crap spraying forwards off the tyre, coupled with a down tube mounted crud catcher (or similar) = massive reduction of crap in face…

Neo guard is a rip off when an old tube works just as well (IMO) and Moto style fenders look gash and don't work as well as the hacked up tube/Crud catcher arrangement….

I'm trying to make a mucky nutz style one at the mo. More aero 8)
