Can anyone recommend any wheelbuilders in Leicester or Derby area?

Julies, Websters, Samways & Mercian etc all have good reps AFAIK, but want to know if they're wheelbuilders are much cop?

i,d use pedal power at loughbough.the guys there are racers and race mechanics in one with years of building wheels.dont bother with websters i took my wheel to have spoke replaced and they didnt even notice the rim was cracked in four places!!

Samways build good wheels.

Second thumbs up for Samways. I used them to build up a mavic wheel last year. They did a great job. The lads in there are always very helpful.

I have had wheels at Julies done, it was a fair while back mind but never had any problems with them or their service.

Mercian are good tho perhaps pricy. Heard Holts in Nightingale Road are good and will try them next time.
