I’m looking at a bike that comes with the 34 Performance fork and shock, but I’m well out of touch with Fox stuff.

Is it any good? How’s the damping compare to a Pike or Fox Factory forks (I’ve had a quick go on one of them).

    Not very popular, it seems.

I used one briefly, just a few weeks, it was good tbh. Noticably more basic- a wee bit less sensitive and subtle- but it got the job done, and the basic character/tune was more to my taste than my rct3 Pikes. Pretty much on par with a motion control rockshox I reckon.

    Thanks Northwind.

I remember getting their lower tier 36 fork on a bike a few years ago and that felt a bit like MoCo too.

Anyone else tried it? Are the shocks any good?

Got one of the shocks on my Segment. Noticeably better than the 2014 Fox CTD on my old 5 29 and better than equivalent Rock Shox I have tried. Very plush for the most part before ramping up well towards the end. Put it this way, i don’t miss the longer travel.

If I got it I think I’d be likely to flog the fork but try the shock out anyway, so that’s good to hear, ta.

You getting rid of the Swoop or is this an N+1?

    Might replace a different bike.
