Did it come in a box with carbon bars marked on it?
This has happened to me before with CRC, when the box was right, the contents wrong. Who got the right part I wonder?
To be fair, CRC sorted it in an exemplary manner

If it did then could be someone returning the aluminium ones having bought both. Does happen 🙁

EXACTLY the same thing happened to me. Arrived yesterday afternoon, made of metal in a bag marked carbon. I sent them back this morning.

No box, but the label on the bag said carbon.

Same here, bars that arrived yesterday were Alloy, paperwork with ’em said they were carbon (which is what i ordered). Starting to wonder how many of us have been sent the wrong bar?

Maybe they bought a cheap lot of carbon bars from somewhere and have been screwed over!

Maybe the packer had a hangover?

Similar happened to me but got an 11 – 34 cassette instead of an 11 – 36!

tbf they are out of stock so it’s not like they are holding stock and refusing to honour it.
