    Up in York this week with work but I’m by myself, the life of an IT consultant.. 🙁

    Is there anywhere worth going of an evening? Resteraunt recommendations or live music? Anything to stop me watching hotel tv

    Not worth mentioning riding because I’ve got neither bike nor kit

    Go on the Ghost Walk, quite good fun, from the pub on the riverfront next to bridge.I think they are on most nights.

    Had a nice italian meal at a restaurant just down the road from the York Dungeons (which is good also).

    Yorkshire brewery tour (last tour 5pm) and sample of their range afterward. Or if the tour doesn’t suit timewise, just go for their tap room and sample their range.
