My inlaws PC is dying and they’ve asked for for advice on a new one. All they use it for is internet, Word and Excel (+ spider solitaire!!)

I’ve seen a couple of reasonably priced bit of kit:

a) Intel Celeron Dual Core G530, Intel GMA HD Graphics, 4GB PC3-10666 DDR3, 500GB HD – £259.00

b)AMD Athlon II X2 250 AM3 3.0GHz, Integrated NVIDIA Video, GB PC3-1333 DDR3, 500GB HD – £285.00

any advice or other suggestions – I know there’s a fair bit of computing knowledge on the forum!!

Go for the intel its an i3 processor in disguise.
