  • What length spoke for DT Swiss EX1501 wheel?

I have managed to break a spoke on my EX1501 back wheel. I cannot find which length spoke I need to replace it with!

Its the EX1501 27.5 wheelset with straight pull spokes. Can anyone help?

    Thanks

Dt Swiss spoke calculator. Check this online but I’m pretty sure it’s an ex471 rim and a 240 straight pull hub. Calc should give you all you need.

You’ve probably worked it out by now but they use DT Comp 284s all round (I think it might be written on the wheel?). Easy enough to source. I would probably use a 285 or even 286 though if using Squorx nipples as DT tend to run their spokes a little short IMHO.

    Found it!

Here’s a link to a PDF of the DT Swiss techbook which gives spoke lengths for all their wheels.

My XM1501’s have the spoke lengths written on the wheelset decal.

Always check that doc. It’s not the most reliable.
