Possibly. I also had the tent up in the garden this week for Mademoiselle, and nearly found myself in there at one point!

Alas, I built it rather than made it. My making stuff is rather more robust in design:

porter_jamie – are you going ahead with making a stumpjumper clevis to use non-specialized shocks? it’s cool if you’re not and I shall know to pursue other avenues

A new ‘fan cooled’ light housing I’ve been making for a customer:

@bearnecessities – build by an engineer in the 60s. Sister house next door is equally well built.

@morthernmatt – hence the large pile of wood (store holds 4m3 of wood). Winter before last we had 4 months spending £500 a month on gas. Never again!

Me again, although arguably, scratching away with pencils is a lot easier than properly making stuff.

It’s a naked lady. Don’t get too excited.

    I like! I like! I want! I want! 😆

How much does that cost? May need to save up for one now.

Well, this was one of a pair, converting existing bikes – off the top of my head:

    Alfine 11-speed kit: £740
    Rear disc: £140
    Front disc kit: £400
    Woodguards: £150

Not sure about the other bits.

Ok, may need to sell bikes to get that for more city use.

Will give you a call once I am ready.

That’s too expensive for now I am afraid unless I strike the jackpot this Friday.

I just want to try out something Japanese this time. i.e. Shimano Alfine.

Well the custom rear triangle I make is the same for both, so you’d still have the option later if you wanted some German engineering 😉

    Two things for me.

    No. 1

    MCPH Jr’s 2nd. Due October 10th.

    No. 2

MCPH Jr birthday present. Made from old pallets in a Jeremy Clarkson ‘how hard can it be’ style.

I really like that samuri. Was it drawn from a model sitting in front of you or a random photo?

    samuri

Thanks. Photo from a stock website. Getting the right reference picture helps a lot. Any model that would be prepared to sit in front of me for the amount of time it takes me would be very patient indeed. 😉

New Cedar clad garage door. It had to be replaced after trying to teach my 11 year old how to reverse the car…he stepped on the accelerator rather than the brake! 😳

Happy with the end result though!

That’s very nice. When I was about the same age I also wrecked the garage doors while trying to reverse 😉

Following on from my last drawing, I’ve now found a practical use for it. Labels on wine bottles with wine in that I also made.

Like those doors ross , any photos of the process ?

Made this a week past thursday.

To replace this delightful cupboard the previous owner left us.

In my garage/workshop, got another one to build along the back as well.

Making my own panels for bulkhead interior that a garage in the past throughtfully cut out when replacing top corners with craply masticed on patches. If only i knew what i know now ! Ive found various road signs and tarmac used in various repairs , all reciepted as well 😮 from a now defunct garage in friockheim – locals will have half an idea , you only have 3 options and 2 are still working 🙂
