drat i thort it was too good to be true (it said FROM 14.99, they are 34.99 i think lol (too expensive for me im afraid
Oh dear, sorry to lead you on, I got them at £14.99 and very nice they are too... Good all round tyres...
Edit Steer clear of the cheaper orcs..
where where ?? where that price ?
will keep looking..lol
At on one , they must've run out...

these look a good deal. Your thoughts?
They're orcs I'd steer clear unless dry use.... Just my humble opinion...
i like fire xc's.
anyone else using the above tyres..they are a good price tho but clobber doesnt like them ? they are xc and shud be good in wet conditions ...me no comprende ?????? lol
I think its because the carcass is ORC. RocketRons seem to have a reputation as very flimsy race tyres
ok how about 'kenda excavator' ...anyone..
At the moment my plan Is Kenda Nevegal DTC 2.1. Seem to be just over £22.

My last buy where High Rollers but they've got expensive and the last ones were slipping on my rims. Currently on the Bontrager XR my bike came with, but theyare poor in the wet. They coped today but only just.
As ever opinions vary but the basically seem popular as a winter capable tyre.

I'm buying 2. Might change the back to a small block 8 in the summer
Just fitted Specialized Storm Control 2.0's to my Soul and they seem a pretty good tyre for this time of year, replaced my Rubber Queens until probably April/May time next year!
Kenda Nevegals are sloooooow and not espeially grippy. They're not bad, but there are plenty of grippier tyres out there, lots of those are faster too!
mboy
happy to have recomendation.....(ideally at a reasonable price)
storms controls are a bit mud like to my eyes. Its not really muddy round here, more sloppey
Fire XC Pros for me
Might change the back to a small block 8 in the summer
What is this 'summer' of which you speak?
Andy
(Put a set of Bonty XR2s on my good wheels for the summer. Have been out on them... twice)
Weirdly Bedfordshire does have some very well drained trails and slaves
