a mate of mine asked for my advice and i haven’t bought a front light for ages

    the brief…
    light and compact
bright enough to light the way down dark alleys
easy to take on and off
    rechargeable
    cheap
    moon on a stick

    maybe about £40
he’s not really an avid biker, so would never thinking of paying the sort of money we’re used to for a joystick or something!

USE flash, Plus a little smidge more to make it rechargeable. 110 Lumens, tiny, makes the bed, everything

Yep, I’ve been using the exposure flash for my daily mix of country roads and city centre riding; small, bright , durable so far and the flash seems bright enough to get me noticed in day light. I picked up a charger and 2 batteries for about £8 from the bay. A bit of a step up in price from my previous commuting lights, but no regrets thus far.
