I am starting to look for a new bike, basically think my current bike is too small, its a Scott L frame, what would your recomendations for 6ft 4 man, mainly used in the Calderdale Hills, want a good climber, was looking at the Specialized Pitch, I know not many around, and thinking of going XL this time, any recomendations would be much appreciated

you just need to try one out, I’m 6ft3 and a large stumpjumper fits me fine but xl was too big for my short legs!

Highly recommend trying out something with big wheels (i.e. a 29er), especially so if you want something which climbs well.

Orange five?? am 6’3 and the 20″ is a good fit but not a gate!!!

I’m 6′ 4″ too and ride an XL Trance – 22″. Feels pretty good to me. But then I’ve also ridden a 19″/L cannondale hardtail and got on very well with it. Like they say, try em out for size. For me the top tube length can have a more significant effect than the seat tube height – e.g. my big (63cm) touring bike is nice, but the reach on it is just a bit too much.
