Ever noticed how the coolest names rarely have cars that live up to it?
Hillman had the Hunter and the Avenger. Who wouldn't want to drive an Avenger?! (Anyone who saw it, that's who)
The tradition continues to this day, only with fast-sounding names. The slowest cars on the road are invariably ones with names like "Swift." I blame the Allegro.

I always liked Bentley Flying Spur and Rolls Royce Phantom. 'Superveloce' and 'Superleggera' are pretty cool suffixes, too.
Subaru Impreza is memorably awful.
