Hmm, thinking I might go for a rigid 27.5+ like a Marin Pine Mountain 1 or a Charge Cooker Midi 1. The Genesis Tarn 10 looks good but is an extra £400. Anyone taken the plunge or got recommendations?

Was looking at the Marin or Charge as they’re £750-£800 but keen to know if they’re a decent ride for the price.

Genesis is more expensive as it is Boost. Charge is normal quick release I think, standard sized. If money wasnt an object on the two, I would go for the genesis, looks lovely and is nice and long.

I got a Charge in Oct to use as a winter bike, 2.8″ tyres 1×10 & rigid fork a requirement for the mud …good fun,not light and wheel bearings on the way out already i think.

Changed front tyre for a Specialized Purgatory as front was iffy in deep mud but rear WTB Trailblazer not bad other than that would recommend i think plus gloss red is always a winner in my book.
