Just had two days of cracking riding in Dartmoor and wanted to say thank you to Crisy Bacon and Trail Monkey.

Emailed Crispy aka Les couple of weeks before for info as seen his pics and he sent us loads of info and offered to guide on the Sunday.

Saturday we’re half way round the mapped out route and met up with Trail Monkey and his friend Si who took us to the ‘secret bits’ us tourists would never find and have to say loved every minute of it so cheers guys your routes were cracking and your company most welcome.

Crispy still turned up as the rain lashed down yesterday morning in Princetown and off we set out for what turned out to be a top mornings ride with a small deviation due to the plank accross one river having been washed away which I’m sure we’ll ride at some point when we return.

Many thanks to all three of you chaps you made us very welcome and Dartmoor definately had lots to offer and we’ll be back for sure.

    Many thanks

    Ian

never had the pleasure of Trailmoney’s company, but CrispyB certainly has an abundance of enthusiasm irrespective of what the weather is doing: top bloke!

It was great to meet you both & to show you round Dartmoor, next time try to bring some dry weather with you. Anyway it’s always good to help out fellow MTBers. Some pics from the ride.

The guys at the very wet start all clean & smiling 😆
