What's a good site for weather forecasts in a mobile-friendly format?
Metcheck being the gold standard in terms of usefulness/readability:
- regional
- nicely time-sliced
- temperature, precipitation and wind all together and easy to read
Don't want a daily picture of a cloud at one extreme, or a pile of satellite images at the other. But something that - you know - actually works and isn't run by a convicted sex offender.

I find this one of the most reliable
the android app is pretty good
no idea if there's an equivalent for the iPhone
yr.no is brilliant, both on the web and mobile.
netweather.tv is also good on the web, but I haven't tried it mobile.
Metcheck has been rubbish for a few years now - ever since their boss got done for raping a 15 year old boy.

Not a bad site, but the forum is blighted by cold/snow rampers.
http://www.weatheronline.co.uk isn't bad for forecasts.
If it helps http://www.yr.no looks good but it is never accurate for me in Cumbria, the BBC is much more accurate. I have tried to give it a chance for over a year now.
I find the Met Office reasonably accurate for up to 48hrs

Longer than 48hrs from any service stands more chance of being incorrect than correct

The met-office site though no doubt accurate, is pretty hideous though. It looks like it was written by some one who bought a book on HTML in 1995 and still uses it as their bible.

MetGUESS is hysterically inaccurate.
Met Office Rainfall Radar is all you need
If you've got an iPhone, the Met Office app is usually pretty accurate.

Phrased that a bit badly - I meant the layout was easy to read on a mobile screen and had detailed at-a-glance info in one page. But TBH it always used to be pretty accurate for me, or at least as much as I've found any forecast to be. Accuracy's not really on the list of criteria - not that it's not important, just I'll test it for myself regardless of what people say 
Anyhoo... XCWeather now bookmarked on the phone, will see how it pans out.
