However the RSPCA didn’t seem interested, and we ended up at the Dogs Trust. They were superb and today Ollie, an 11 month old black lab came home with us 😆 He is superb

Settling in fine – some initial excitement followed by sleep and then a long walk, followed by more sleep – he’s now trying to eat our dinner whilst it’s cooking 😯

Strange you mention that about the RSPCA. We visited them once or twice, found them to be very hard work and then went to the Dogs Trust and got a dog.

11 month old lab standing still long enough for a photo. That’s a good sign in my book. He’ll be great.

Nice one for getting a rescue dog too.

Great dogs , Here’s my Charlie…

We took in a 9 month old chocolate lab 5 weeks ago. Didn’t realise how nuts labs can be. he’s shaping up ok. Lots of walks and big poo’s 😯 The pulling on the lead is getting much better and he will come back for a treat if no other dogs are about. Hasn’t chewed anything yet but did 4 beds at his old owners. Enjoy, we are.

Thanks for all the comments and pics! The house has felt empyt for the last 18 months (since the collie x died :() but today is ace 😀

The kids are nearly as happy as me – however as the responsible adult I am having to show a little restraint 😆

Cant wait for walkies in the morning, then a nice ride, followed by more walkies! Help burn off a little extra cider for sporting support!
