I've just noticed a small - no more than half an inch - cut in my tyre sidewall. Inner was just poking through it, but I'd been riding on it for some distance. The cut itself is small enough to be closed with superglue, and is holding nicely. But to be sure when out on a ride I'd like to put a patch on the inside "just to be safe".
What suggestions does the collective have for the best sort of patch to use? Old type tyre repair kits used to have a tyre wall patch, but I've not seen them for years, so what's best? Will a Park Emergency Patch last long term?
Or should I just ditch the tyre?
