Can anyone recommend any gentle trails that are near (north of) Montrose. Me and the GF are heading over for a couple of days from Glasgow to meet up with some family and we wanted to take the bikes to get a bit of cycling in so any local knowledge would be appreciated.
15km about blue or red route type would be ideal.

head to drumtochty forest near near auchenblae.
If you see some singletrack dissapearing into the woods its probably sweet ....
swanley hill has all the man made stuff !
