    Had two fillings done yesterday. is it normal to have a little bit of toothache following? noticed slight pain last night.

    not unusual. i've had fillings take a few days to settle down.

    especially if they are deep ones.

    Yes. They've drilled a dirty great hole in your tooth and filled it with chemicals, so sometimes they need a while to settle down. White fillings are worse than silver amalgam I find.
