omg. There's a Park hammer/mallet. I can see how that would be far superior to other hammers/mallets.
Posted 2 years ago # -
I saw that! & a Park hacksaw, must get one!
Posted 2 years ago # -
Unless it's a bike specific tool I just get Facom kit that I get from work.
Posted 2 years ago # -
Oh no! I can't see it there... They must have discontinued the Park loo roll holder! Nooooooo!!!!
Posted 2 years ago # -
..and what appears to be a Park coat hangar just below and right of the Park hacksaw.
Posted 2 years ago # -
My favourite tool isn't there. My CT-6 folding chain tool.
Posted 2 years ago # -
as above - don't buy Park [non bike specific] tools - they really aren't that good

Park isn't really porn. Bit too common place somehow.

Surely Tool Porn = snap on
Its more bike specific 'tool porn' I suppose, but agree (for me) tool porn = Snap-On.

Shop I used to work in has one of those campag toolkits. I was told it cost a few £k in the late 80s, so goodness knows how much now. All the headset related tools are 1", so bit limited on that front these days. I would love a mint-boxed one.
Bought a Park Master Chain Tool last year for doing my campag chains, is a lovely thing (and half the price of the campag one.

All the shizzle in that campag case is neigh on useless...
... and as far as 'might as well buy some other brand'... Then it wouldn't match!
When Cycle Surgery was bought by Snow and Rock we* had about 8 of these kits in the shop for distribution to the shops they converted.
I was idley looking at the park stuff after I set up my workshop. I was wondering if I should leave space on the wall for those tools I lust after - like the crown race remover.
*I was a shop manager, then Sunday boy when I went back to real work.

Wierdos!
Why? What do you do for a living Dasha?
But seriously, that Campag case has everything! Headses reamers, a dishing tool, a crown race cutter.. What's there not to get a little moist about?

The Park Bits box is £22 !!
It does have a see-through lid though so its a reaonable price. Ahem.
M+S do great wee sealable tubs that come with the added bonus of mini chocolate treats.

Isn't having all your tools from one manufacturer or range a sure sign in any field that you actually have no idea what your doing?
Posted 2 years ago # -
