LOL
From the old mans website...
"This lathe was originally owned by Maurice Cann, the famous Grand Prix racer and champion of the 30’s 40’s and 50’s; he was notorious for continually beating the “works” Moto Guzzi GP team on his own home-developed Guzzi “double-knocker”; many of the parts for which were made on this machine. We have now overhauled it and returned it to use as part of our workshop equipment. It’s a very handy tool with a 16” swing and 60” between centres - it can handle BIG stuff as well as small. It’s about a hundred years old and was made by the Monarch Machine Company in Sidney, Ohio, and it’s history gives us lots of satisfaction every time we use it!"
We have a couple of Colchesters as well.

"PS.. what is the box at 2 o'clock?"
It's a Park Tools Empty Chinese Food Box for putting small parts in. Only £30.
My park CT6 chain tool lasted precisely 2 chain breaks before it bent the pin and although you can get replacement pins I decided to buy a different tool in the hope it would last a bit longer!
How clumsy are you
