Once slipped on a ladder, my ring got stuck and my whole body weight was on my finger. The pain shot through me. Never worn a ring since.
I girl I knew climbed over a fence, caught her ring on the fence and her finger came off. She’s never worn one since either.

For that “Friday feeling”, google degloving and browse the images. Possibly NSFW, or lunch.

If you have a design and a size, I could 3D print you a titanium one?

No – was looking through stw archives for ti rings. I’ve also seen tungsten carbide which looks stunning

I wouldn’t. Tungsten is very hard (so difficult to remove if required) and is also very brittle. It can shatter is dropped. Plenty of Youtube videos of Groom’s dropping rings at weddings and watching as they shatter.
I think that becuase they are so hard, they can scratch stuff really easily too. I’m sure I read somewhere about some bloke stopped wearing his because he kept damaging stuff.
