I bought a second hand BFe on another forum advertised as having had bb and disk mounts faced and head tube reamed. I asked the question why had the head tube been reamed and was the headset still a tight fit.....To which I got the answer the it was too tight a fit before and now it's perfect.
Well my headset turned up yesterday go to fit and the cups press in almost completely by hand. 
But then I had a brainwave, every new frame i've fitted a headset to has paint on the inside of the headtube so 3 thin coats of enamel later and the cups are a good tight fit and all is well in the world. 
Just thought I'd share in case it helps anyone else.
