No I wont consider those 'winged/ergo' grips. I just don't think they would be confidence inspiring on the downs..

Anything really cushioned/thicker grips? Currently running ruffians but the rubber is quite firm.

others are available, but i like those.

Those Sunline ones are ridiculously massive. I really like the Bontrager Earl ones, but I'm not sure if you can buy them any more.

    …no, they're just big.

    or,

they're just the right size for hands big enough to fit them.

Lizard Skins North Shore are a bit bigger, sorted my sore joint problems, and I was also recommended 'Oury' grips.

Oury, from on-one £10 any colour you like and super tacky.

Odi Rogues are very good and also Oury grips are about the same thickness. I switched from Ruffians to them and it made a world of difference. Most grips seem to be made for people with carnie hands.

Question- did you find the Ruffians like holding hardboard/too stiff?

    Oury's…and they are a cheap gamble at £6.99. 🙂

Do the white sunlines go manky after a couple of rides in the mud?

NC-17 do some pretty chunky grips that are currently on offer on CRC at the moment – I think down to £8. Ordered a pair last week and am wondering if they might be a bit large for my hands…

Other than that – aren't the Yeti logo ones pretty big & spongy.

I'm impressed with ESI foamy chunkies. Putting them on all my bikes now.

I just picked up some Spesh Enduro XL ones from Biketreks, pretty comfy but very well priced at £13.50

    Yeti grip ODIs.

I also like these cos they have such a deep grip. Means when you stack it on a race run and grab the bike up and keep going there's more chance it's not completely covered in mud and really slick, still some rubber to hold onto.

Like holding on to some **** wooden doweling rods in comparison 😕

+1 for Yeti's, comfy, grippy and good for big hands.
