    Can anyone see a big ring around the moon? seen it before,what causes that then?

    Ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

    It’s a Lunar halo, you get the same thing around the Sun. It’s caused by very high ice crystals that form cirrostratus cloud. It’s a 22 degree one I expect, and it’s a good indicator of changing weather. The same clouds cause sundogs as well.

    Just googled that because i didnt know what it was,thats exactly what i saw last night.Looked pretty impressive too,its the little things in life i guess 😀
