It’s only a cut, unless she was going to bleed out. An hour, but maybe longer, due to all the bleedin immigrants, innit?.

    40 minutes.
The next time I have an accident it will be quicker to drive to the airport ,fly to Majorca ,drive to Alcudia and get patched up rather than wait at East Surrey.
They did a really good job and all for the flourish of an e111. No doubt Nigel intends to put a stop to such a wonderful idea.
Oh and we had free parking.

I walked up to the counter asked if her leg could be looked at. The lady at the counter took her off to a room and cleaned ,stitched and bandaged.
We have to go back on Tuesday to have it checked. It was so easy and so quick. How we can’t do it like that I don’t know.

I’ve used “foreign” a and e twice. The first time I was whisked there in ambulance after getting into a ruck with some muggers. Once I conformed I had insurance I was dealt with like royalty with all the best treatments…

    Meh.

Smallest_oab was 7 when he spent three days with broken lower arm (both bones), due to incompetence and no consultant at weekend…

    E111 would suggest so.

We are in Majorca to clear up any confusion. Just googled nearest hospital to us . No idea what kind of hospital it was.

When I sliced my hand open one Sunday evening it was 18 hours. That included them digging around to check it was clean and the attention of a plastic surgeon and anethatist for the general anesthetic.

Yes OP one of the things UK retirees in Spain said during the EU Referendum, they didn’t want to lose access to Spanish healthcare as it was better than the NHS.

I went to A&E at a major NHS hospital at about 8pm on the night before Xmas eve with a splinter in my eye (agony).

Obviously I was walking wounded and it wasn’t going to kill me but in half an hour I was on my way home after being seen by a nurse specialist and consultant, they’d spoken to the ophthalmologist who’d decided he didn’t need to get involved, I’d been given eye drops, a dashing eye patch and an appointment first thing the next morning at the specialist clinic.

Last Sunday afternoon, Aberdeen ARI, 3 chapters of Sapiens. Then treated and discharged within an hour. Not too bad and I can’t really complain after all it was self inflicted (OTB on Clachnaben).
