So if you see a brown and white spaniel with floppy ears call Toby tomorrow on his own he is lost. The guy was looking for him up by where the uplift van stopps and around the top of the downhill runs and the verdeerers trail.Very sad to lose your dog. ๐ฅ
Nightmare. Hope you get him home safe and sound.
Hi no it wasnt my dog.Just kept seeing the same guy walking around different bits shouting for his dog.Came across him 3 times after he first spoke to me.Felt gutted for him.I kept asking anyone i saw if they have seen the dog no luck.
Should have been on a lead, sorry hope you find him though.
it's not his dog you horrible drunken loner
Should have been on a lead, sorry hope you find him though.
Have you read any of the above posts?
Theendisnigh thanks for your view, I'm fine thanks.
That's dreadful. I hope you find him soon. 8)
tbh whiter74, I hope you are fine, it was just a vile post that you made. I reacted with poison so I'm no better than you. let's both make a new year resolution not to be horrible to people under any circumstances. ๐
Theendisnigh I'm not judging you ! If something was so precious to me I would keep it close. I did mention I hope it's found. Considering I live in the FoD I will be on the look out tomorrow for my morning walk.
Think about the poor dog he may of missed out on his Turkey and yes it is still not my dog .He was out for his Christmas run you dont want to be on a lead in all those woods!!!
Did you have a good ride mate?
Yes thanks did 2 bits of the verdeerers the other way around fancied doing them for ages as there was no one around at the time.Did couple of D/h runs.Only stayed in Worcester lodge area.Verdeerers is in good nick. The natural stuff is yuk.Mind those floods between Longford and Over roundabout look serious.Half way around the verdeerers is been totally felled looks really weird good views though.Never seen the car park so empty ๐
You go steady riding waymarked trails!
I will it only happens once a year like Christmas ๐
Lets hope the dog didn't find some old mineshaft ๐ฏ
I lost one of mine today in local woods, cue entire extended family searching for dog with doggy dementia who occasionally goes on the bend and dissapears for hours. Soaked and fed up an hour later he wonders out of the woods towards me and isn't even slightly bothered, little git!
We found a lost dog up at Drumlanrig last year. The other half stayed with the dog and I went on and found the owner nearer the car park. Very rewarding to reunite the two. Fingers crossed similar happens here.
Had the same a few years back.dog was found next morning under a tree at the top of Dowies.Taken to local vets who rung dog warden who rang me. All well. Worring though
A riding buddy once spent over an hour riding around our local woods in the dark looking for his dog, he eventually gave up and went home to find the dog sitting on the doorstep. Also lost a young Dougie in CYB when some muppet sharing the bunkhouse left the door open - cue a dozen people in pitch black shouting his name, and worriedly searching for the poor lost little doggie. 20mins later, he wandered in quite happily of his own accord. Sometimes there's a happy ending.
Dogs are stupid aren't they?
Should have been on a lead
Unusual for a Spaniel to wander that far from their owner, and to also loose their 'trail'.
Didnt see anyone much today. No one lost mind it was pissing down most of the afternoon Lecky/Birdlip way.
Must be a spaniel thing saw a notice today on a fence post where someone had lost a black and white one few weeks back.Nightmare very sad.
