Good skills! Is that sort of very steep technical rocky riding the type which can be taught on a course? I would like to be able to ride stuff like that. Maybe just need to man up and get up to the Lakes 😕

Some of them on crappy Orange 5’s too! Just think what they could ride if they were on decent bikes!

    Stony Cove Pike: http://www.walkingenglishman.com/lakes24.htm

That’s the one. Easily accessible from the top of Kirkstone pass. I recognise those stepping stones by the wall @1:20 (Walked not ridden!)

Yep but I think it’s a little cheeky so not going to say.
Nice vid but points off for skidding and the guy on the white orange(?I think) who skipped the rocky path and rode round on the grass.

Yeah, the first one could cause big upset with walkers and ‘the man’ if not careful about timing. There’s a lot of effort gone into erosion control.

Very very impressive riding lads! As ever.

Not too sure about posting it on here though… cheeky of the highest order. I know the trails well and there is potential for some big conflict there.

    Nice video as always.

Is stoney pike a footpath then? Never heard anyone mention stoney pike as a rideable descent, first time I’ve heard of it for that matter!

Those trails look much more suited to rigid singlespeed…

I can’t see the attraction riding trails like that on those bouncy sofa bikes
