Ordered a type 3 brake adapter from SS which arrived today. Type 3 was supposed to be Front PM-IS 180mm

Got a note with delivery saying that there were no more type 3 adaptors in stock and they supplied me a type 2 (Rear PM-IS 160mm) instead and that it is exactly the same shape for my setup.

Happy to give it a bash, but am I going to encounter problems at all?

they’re essentially the same.
most mounts that fit on the front, fit on the rear with 20mm less disc size.

Nice one chaps, I will give it a go this evening. Also My front disk is a hope floating rotor, will I need a few washers to get the extra 3mm needed for the disk?

extra 3mm? I don’t quiet understand. the disc thickness is the same.

Hope rotors are meant to be 183mm diameter?

ah you mean you want an extra 1.5mm….

yes a washer between the caliper and the mount should do it
