Out practicing for the mega and try a new line which results in a rather painful finger rock bar combo followed by over bars to hard landing.

Picked my self up and dusted down usual dented ego and soreness, about to get back on when I decide to look at the sore finger – oops its pointing the wrong way.

4 X rays & 285 euros later it’s straight again but swelling up, get me phone out to let everyone know I’m ok only to find I’ve smashed the screen……..

    Expensive Crash

Now using the free Wifi popping pills and hoping I can race tomorrow!!

What a bummer. Anti-inflamms will see you right. You won’t feel the pain with a hundred loons barrelling down around you.

    Good luck

please not fingers. My arse is knitting buttons at the thought!

(Played goalkeeper and wicket keeper for 30 years, have had more fractures / cracks / dislocations than I would mention, and they still make me squirm. Especially the thought of the ringblock injections…..)

I was told anti-inflamms aren’t good for fractures, the bone needs a good supply of blood to aid union.
