Does such a tyre exist? Looking for a new set of tyres, budget of no more than 30 quid each. Going to use it for xc so needs to be light and fast rolling, but want something without toilet paper sidewalls.

Oh..and they need to be able to run tubeless as well…

    Any suggestions

With Stans you can run any tyre tubeless. Have a look on On-one.co.uk for their Schwalbe tyre deals….

Cheap Schwalbe snakeskins from on-one. If you want the feel of a solid tyre you could even go beyond snakeskin and get a double Defense tyre.

No such thing as a strong & light tyre really I’m affraid.
Spesh tyres are a reasonable weight, fairly tough and reasonably priced IMO

I’ve got some 2011 2.1″ Pace Star TR Racing Ralphs brand new in their box, £55 the pair if they’re of interest. Not OEM stuff from On One either.

Another vote for spesh tyres, control sidewall.
