    Hi,

Anyway of staving of the legs cramps when riding. Been getting quad cramps and struggling to shift them.

Only drinking water and possibly a muesli bar, only have a gel or mulebar if feeling knackered! Wondering whether having some electrolyte tabs in the water would be better for longer rides, like High5 Zero? Not sure how they shake up in a camelbak! Have tried High5 EnergySource before but would want it as an only drink!

Look up quinene in tonic water.

Save yourself lots of time and effort and just buy yourself some nuun tablets. Problem solved. Really. They just work, trust me. Use as directed and say goodbye to cramp!

Another vote for Nuun tablets, I used to suffer cramp after a few hours ride. Since using Nuun I don’t seem to suffer !

Zero tabs worked for me. probably a similar composition to Nuun. The deep muscle cramps in the evening following a strenuous day were horrible. They stopped when I began thinking about what I was eating and drinking during a ride. More fluid + the tabs 😀
