    I see from PB they’ve launched some wider carbon wheels; anyone any experience of the ones that have been out for a while (Valdés)?

    I could swallow the Stans aluminium rim prices as they were a bit niche and offered something genuinely better than the competition. But £1700 when every man and his dog is offering similarly wide and tubeless rims with bead sockets?

    I know that was true of the Valor wheels; hope it’s not with the new ones…

    I imagine it will be. The Valors were going to be the lightest thing ever, then they weren’t. I suspect they realised rim only would have represented shit value.
