I have an xo rear mech but the thread on the main pivot bolt is frankly shot,I have a new replacement screw.
My question to you is how do you take the one one out and put the new one in?

(the screw in question is the one that secures the mech to its hanger…..

see if theres a circlip on the back, i think there's a groove in the bolt that it sits in that holds it in place

there'll be an exploded diagram on the SRAM websit

looks like a spring clip on the back of the bolt

it is, iv'e done one and it's quite fiddly but doable,

could you explain bit by bit….

on the back of the mech whrer the inside of the bolt pokes through behinde the the bit that the little angle adjustment screw is its a small ring which you pull/spread apart, i used a small elec screwdriver and some sharp point scissers, watch the clip dos'nt go poing
