Just changed the pads on my XT v brakes, all set up just so but they are squeaking very badly, same pads as before and those were fine...any tips? as i can't seem to stop it.....Am thinking that i may need to bed them in as they are leaving black marks on the rim ATM but not sure, never had this problem before!!

Yep, all done as should be, tweaked them further and seems a bit better but the noise from them earlier was nasty and in the dry, will run them hard for a while tomorrow and see if that cures it, in the wet...silent, usually the other way round!
Thinking it's more the pad than me though.
