2014 Zesty, finished a run this morning, started pedaling the bike back up and noticed a squeak has started to emit when the suspension is compressed. Fairly sure it’s coming from the linkages around the shock area / swing link. Pretty sure not shock bushings as replaced shock and fitted new bushings not so long ago.

Aside from a full bearing replacement (for which I can source bearings, but not confident doing as don’t have the tools, so will be a costly lbs job), is there anything else i should be doing to see if I can avoid replacement, or should I just bite the bullet? If so how much should I be looking to pay for a bearing replacement (10 bearings I think)?

Haha, don’t think the Mrs would buy that excuse.

Lube the pivots? Spot of wet lube normally sort mine out if they are dry.
Bearing replacement either try for fixed price or bit of string time. Depends how much the bike needs to come apart, how stuck the current ones are etc.
