Had my first one ever on my legs last night. Good grief they feel better today!! I basically went as I had nothing left in my legs after lots of intense training and riding 614 miles in a week. The guy was shocked i could still turn the pedals with all the lactic build up and tightness.
Best £15 I have spent. And no there wasnt any extras.

Sports massage is great but I thought Lactic acid only hung around for a round 30 minutes post effort.

i went for one in italy during recent biking trip to Lugano area, 2 things made it very dificult:
1) "oh no, those swim shorts are far to big, you'll have to wear this" (v small mesh g-string)
2) "and reeeelaaaaaaahhhhhhhx" in an italian accent on every motion/run/strokeShudder.
that is all! glad it worked for you though.

They're worth every penny, can recommend Vitality Fitness for it if you're in the Cardiff area.

Sports massages work wonders on the legs - bloody painful experience though.

I was getting my knee looked at and next door a guy was having a deep tissue sports massage and the noises he was making was hilarious, a curious mix of screaming like a girl and yelping like a dog :p Put me off trying one though.
