    Looking for wheel build advice..

Will I need new spokes to replace a 355 rim with a flow on a hope pro 2 hub. (front)

    Cheers

Google for the dt conversion table. you fill in the rim and hub models and it gives you spoke lengths.

compare your old and new. I’ve always thought a couple of mm either way is usable. but then it depends on spoke/nipple condition.

Ideally, spokes for a Flow rim will be 2mm shorter than for a 355.

You’ll probably not manage to get it to work.

I’d suggest getting an Arch rim instead of a Flow as the Arch has the same ERD as the 355 and you should be able to swap straight across. The Arch is all but as strong as the Flow anyway, just slightly narrower

    Cheers chaps

I want a Flow on the front to match a rear I had fitted when I broke the rim on that wheel.

Having a new rim and spokes fitted will cost more than a new wheel and new wheel wouldnt match because it would be an evo hub!

    OCD is a terrible thing..

    Thanks for the tips
