Is it worth paying the extra for the adaptalite versions? Do they react quick enough?

They react very well. Unfortunately, I don’t reckon they go quite clear enough for night riding.

I’ve got a pair – certainly no good for night riding. But for day riding they suit pretty much all conditions. They change from dark to light v quick indeed.

In the shop they’ll show you how quick they react with a special little flash gun thing. Pretty impressive.

After sales service is ace – mine were scratched, Pedal Sports in Halifax & Specialized sorted me some new lenses for free. Top banana kit.

I left mine in the sun but part-covered in shadow by my finger. They were all dark except the patch in shade.

    I believe.

Thats good news snowslave, mine are a bit scratched. Mine are poor at changing when going from sunlight into really dark wooded areas. That was why I bought them to save me riding into sharp objects.
