I’ve noticed that after a night on the sauce (not paralytic, just merry) I get up the following morning with the predictable bit of a headache etc but my left eye gets progressively more painful through the day. Just my left one, right is fine.

It being New Year’s Day, this happened today as well as a couple of times over Christmas. It actually makes driving, reading, watching TV etc difficult. I imagine it’s due either to something lacking (eg potassium) or dehydration although dehydration seems unlikely as I drink an impressive amount of tea.

What do you reckon? Anyone else get anything similar?

Take the teaspoon out of the cup.

Try taking the little umbrella out of your glass?

Tea is still a diuretic.

I get similar and generally conclude that it’s dehydration – not enough fluid on my eye and the eyelid begins to rub, thus making it sore.

I get this, but only after seven or eight tequila stuntmen.
