  • Software driver software. Dodgy websites?

I’ve inherited a webcam which I want to Skype with. The only snag is there is no software disc with it. It’s a Sony CMR-PC3 and the support section on the website doesn’t have any drivers for it. I’ve Googled and all I seem to find are websites that look to offer the software but then want you to download their driver manager software instead. Can anyone recommend a good site for downloading the software?

    Cheers

Try this one Sony CMR-PC2 Driver

It’s meant for the PC2 but may work with the PC3. Worst case scenario is that it doesn’t work and you’re still without drivers but give it a try and see. I’ve had a scout about and can’t seem to find specific PC3 drivers anywhere so if it doesn’t work then I’d say try emailing Sony and see if they can provide you with them.
