Bit of a long shot, but we’re off to Les Gets in a few weeks and I fancy getting a guide for half a day to show us round some of the more accessible off-piste runs.

Any recommendations? I’m guessing as Morzine is pretty close a guide from there would probably come across…

I didn’t realise there was any decent off piste in the area?

What kind of standard are you? From what I can recall from when I went out biking to Les Gets a few years back its pretty flat every where and nothing looked like you would remotely need a guide for.

I live out here and know a few people who will do it for you – but you’ll be lucky with not much fresh snow due – you’d be as well to stick to the slush.

If you are planning on off piste – bring a transceiver minimum.

and yes in answer to the other posts theres lots of good off piste.

Sounds like it might be worth waiting til we’re there and then making some enquiries if the snow’s any good.

    We’d look to hire transceiver/shovel/probe in resort…

    Cheers for the responses
