Looking to get one of these as recommended by quite a few people. Now I’ve heard there are a lot of fakes knocking about. Just wondering where to get a genuine one from on Amazon or another seller looking to use it on the bike and on holiday for snorkeling footage and still photos.

Also how do I edit my videos on my laptop and etc?

From my ‘research’ you can avoid the fakes if the purchase is ‘fulfilled by amazon’, and you’re going to pay nearer sixty quid for a genuine sjcam4000.

The only extra you may need is a chest strap.

Genuine sjcam4000’s also have some kind of official sticker on the box and…

An ability to sync with the sjcam app.

You may be better searching for ‘genuine sjcam 4000’ on Amazon.

I guess the last bit is important as should it all go pear shaped and you don’t get a genuine sjcam4000 with the sticker certifying authenticity and a connection to sjcam’ app etc, then it should be easier to claim a refund?
