Bikes for the fuller figured or perhaps braver types, the unbreakables.

Always see ultra lightweight or big DH bikes but I'm interested in stuff that works and keeps working for the average person.

Had it from new, still running alot of the original parts, it's been downhill raced, Morzined and Snowdoned, XC trudged and trail centre hacked and hucked.

Shrugged it all off and asked for more. I love it. (wish it was 5lb lighter but then would have cost more or broken more!)

Neither I had a new front triangle from a joker recently but was my fault completely for breaking the Isis so I'm not holding it against it.

not broken it yet which isn't bad as i managed to snap the drop out off on my old Revs last year going down an alp and bend my scott in half the year before that. i only weigh 10-and-a-bit stone….

Are those revs or lyriks? If it's the latter I'm suprised how normal it looks, thinking of sticking soem on my prophet.

they be Lyriks. the Revs are those spindly things on the Sanderson to the right. Had to get a new casting fitted after they went kaputt.

You can't go wrong with a Pitch. Tough as old boots. This one's built up fairly light, but I'm heavy and I haven't broken anything yet.

Here's mine, a Chromag Stylus, after a lap of Cypress out here in BC, from mountaintop to beach. 🙂

This is my XC bike really, but it's more than capable of hitting anything I will.

I'm becoming a bit of a photo whore but here goes. I might enter a DH race on it this year but I WILL enter one next year.

    Tough as old boots Pitch.

Tough as old boots. Semi-bling build, with some X0 in there, Easton Havoc bars, Time platforms, SDG Ti saddle, ODI Intense etc. Now with matching RQ tyres and spoke protector removed!

Copes with everything my burly frame can throw at it!

Now dismembered as I didn't really have the riding ability to do justice to its weight and burlyness.

My old Stinky. Awesome bike. Cost be bog all, was lobbed off (and fallen off) everything at Chicky with no problem.

SX Trail. Much fun. And not as bad uphill as you might think.

Trailstar. Much abused. Especially during a year long attempt to ride everything high, steppy and concrete where I used to live. It's also been run over but heavy bikes. Twice.

Only got the DMR now. Easiest bike in the world to bunnyhop.

I like that Gspot looks sturdy! I know it's not made for it but does it climb OK or is the front end light?

I've always liked the look of the GSpot and as I'm 6'5" and 16 odd stone -what size is it?

Jedi's Demo is the hardest bike on here – it can't even be stolen! 😀

and there's no such thing as a light tough bike, just deluded riders.
