Sorry if this has been posted previously (couldn’t find anything on recent search) but can I see some pics of pompinos please?

I’m hoping to get one for winter training and would like to see how the new frame colours look when built up,

    cheers

Since have worn out the cranks, chain, 3 freewheels(!), changed the stem to a shorter PX one, bars to PX strada and just last week discovered i had worn the rims through so have thrown on a set of cheap On-One track wheels with 28c Panaracer Ribmo tires.

It also now has V-Brakes as the cantis were poor for me.

Oh yea, it also has had mudguards on since this pic was taken.

I should really take a new picture

Also in winter commuting mode, ’07 model.

Firestarter – what tyres are you running there? Much clearance?

Some nice builds there, if only that blue was still available!

Barry did you build yours yourself or is that a stock build from the website?

We do a similar commute I believe (Saintfield Road?) so what gearing do you run and do you ride fixed or singlespeed?

Put together myself as cheap as I could at the time and constantly upgrading it and getting it more and more as I want it… as I have worked out what I actually wanted from it over time!

Ds3000 sorry missed your question. They are 35mm land cruisers and there is plenty of clearance mate

35mm Maxxis Locusts also fit fine (and work).
